Buenavista Mayor Dave Duallo (inset, upper left corner), in his FB page announced the following: “Dia ra! Mga TikTokers, inyoha na ni! Buenavista Fiesta TikTok Dance Challenge Live on October 3, 2023.” The mayor in the same announcement bared the following mechanics and criteria for the competition: 1) The competition is open to all Boholanos 15 years old and above; 2) The performance must be a minimum of 3 minutes to a maximum of 4 minutes, and with three to five (3 to 5) members only (mixed members or all males, or all females); 3) The contestants may have the liberty of the choices of English TikTok Music compilations; 4) The performers can use single, remix or medley music; 5)Dancers may use costume or props during their performances. Criteria for Judging: Choreography and Mastery – 50 points; Music Choices – 25 points; Entertainment Value – 15 points; Charisma, confidence, charm – 10 points making a total of 100 points. Moreover, the mayor said that the prizes for the competition are: Winner – P6,000; Second Place – P5,000; Third Place – P4,000; Consolation – P1,500 per group.
