Danao Mayor Jose Gonzaga Cepedoza (inset, upper left corner) reports that on Sept. 22, 2023 at 9:00 o’clock in the morning, the Phil. National Police (PNP) personnel of the Danao Municipal Police Station conducted a River Clean-up Drive at barangay Magtangtang, Danao, Bohol. The police group was under the leadership of Chief of Police PCPT Ponciano Mula Entroliso Jr. with the PNP personnel from the neighboring police stations including the employees of the Local Govt. Unit (LGU). Mayor Cepedoza said that the activity was done in relation to PRO 7’s Project HAW-AS, a program dubbed as “Hiposon, Alsahon, Wagtangon ang Sagbot”. Mayor Cepedoza added that the activity was a product of a collective effort engaging community participation in addressing global warming and climate change issues in our planet as well as adhering to the PNP Core Value, “Makakalikasan”.
