“The Exorcist” at
Screenville Cinemas

The sixth installment in the film series and serves as direct sequel to
the most terrifying 1973 film about a 12-year-old girl possessed by a
mysterious demonic entity forcing her mother to seek the help of two priests
to save her, “The Exorcist: Believer” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas
of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
Considered by many to be the best horror film ever made, William
Friedkin’s “The Exorcist” is coming back to cinemas in celebration of its 50th
Anniversary. The film is very popular among audiences with 10 Academy
Award nominations, including Best Picture — a first for a horror movie. 
Based on the 1971 novel of the same name, “The Exorcist: Believer” is
the first of its three new “The Exorcist” films, with the second one
entitled “The Exorcist: Deceiver,” set for release on April 18, 2025. It stars
Oscar nominee Ellen Burstyn reprising her role as Chris MacNeil, Reagan’s
mother.
Starring with Burstyn are Leslie Odom Jr., Ann Dowd, two-time Tony
Best Actor winner Norbert Leo Butz, Sugarland vocalist Jennifer Nettles and
Olivia Marcum.

“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour”
at Screenville Cinemas

You may not be able to see Taylor Swift in person, but at least you’ll
get to see her literally larger than life in theaters in the concert film, “Taylor
Swift: The Eras Tour”, which will premiere worldwide on Friday, October 13,
at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
For everyone who missed their chance to see her “The Eras Tour” Live
at SoFi stadium in California last August, Taylor Swift is bringing a filmed
version of the highest-grossing concert to movie theaters.
The forthcoming coming movie also features other documentaries,
including her “Reputation Tour,” her Netflix documentary “Miss Americana,”
and “Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions” on Disney Channel.
The 12-time Grammy winner has been on her record-breaking “Eras”
tour, the highest grossing tour pegged at $2.2 billion in North America ticket
sales alone. The upcoming “The Eras Tour” movie is her fourth concert film
following “Fearless” and “Reputation.”
