On Oct. 10, 2023, the turnover of bank checks for three (3) Buenavista Sustainable Livelihood
Program Associations, namely: 1. Mabuhay Eastern Cabul-an Sustainable Livelihood
Program Association from Eastern Cabul-an Island; 2. Hugpongsa Kalambo-an Sustainable
Livelihood Association from Lubang; and 3. Samahan sa Pag-unlad Sustainable Livelihood
Association also from Lubang. The projects are funded by the Department of Social Welfare
and Development – Sustainable Livelihood Program (DSWD-SLP) program to implement their
income generating activity like micro-enterprises. The said activity was attended by our very
supportive Mayor Dave Duallo (3rd from right) and the DSWD SLPA staff. We express our
thanks to DSWD for choosing our Local Government Unit (LGU) as a beneficiary and to our
mayor who welcomed and supported this program together with all SB officials headed by
