Two students possessed by evil spirits in Bohol high school

Two female students of Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, were allegedly possessed by evil spirits on Monday, October 16, 2023.

According to the official statement of the school administration, the incident happened during the first period (12:30-1:30pm) in the Grade 10 level.

The school authorities decided to suspend the classes and instructed the Grade 10 students to go home to prevent mass hysteria.

The affected students were given medical and spiritual assistance by various agencies and personnel, reports said.

The school nurse, the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), the City Health Office, and Tarsier 117 responded to the scene and provided health care to the students.

Meanwhile, an exorcist priest, Fr. Absalon Florenosos, with the help of two other members of the Catholic Faith Defenders, performed a spiritual deliverance on the students.

The priest claimed that the students were possessed by evil spirits that were disturbed by the ongoing construction of a new building in the school.

In the statement, the school administration thanked God for handling the situation accordingly and ensuring the safety of everyone.

They also urged the public to seek God’s guidance and help in times of trouble.
