“Killers of the Flower Moon”

From Academy Award-winning filmmaker Martin Scorsese comes an
epic Western crime thriller about the Osage tribe in the United States
murdered under mysterious circumstances in the 1920s, “Killers of the
Flower Moon” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and
Alturas Mall.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro star in this macabre western
flick based on the non-fiction bestseller by American author David Grann
about serial murders among the Osage tribe in 1920s committed in
Oklahoma after oil was discovered on tribal land.
Mollie (Lily Gladstone) and her family are deeply disturbed by the
mysterious illnesses which have been killing the Osage people one by one.
Later the bodies of murder victims are found, including Mollie’s wayward
sister Anna (Cara Jade Myers). This sparks a major FBI investigation by
Director J. Edgar Hoover, sending an officer (Jesse Plemons) to investigate
more as the situation becomes too bad for the federal authorities to ignore.

An action-packed comedy from “Taken” director Pierre Morel about an
investigative journalist and her bodyguard caught in the middle of a military
coup, “Freelance” will premiere worldwide on Wednesday, October 25, at
Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall, 3 days ahead of the
US release.
WWE wrestling superstar and now Hollywood actor John Cena (“The
Marine”) stars as a former special forces operative Mason Pettis who now
lives an ordinary life years after retiring from the Army. When he’s offered
$20,000 to serve as a private security for a washed-up journalist Claire
Wellington (Alison Brie–“Scream 4”), he reluctantly takes the job
temporarily.
Pettis is going to escort Claire scheduled to interview President Juan
Venegas whose country is in turmoil and the citizens are at war. In the
middle of the interview, a coup breaks out and Claire gets the scoop she
wants. But they are forced to escape into the jungle of Paldonia and must
fight for their survival.
“FREELANCE” will premiere worldwide on Wednesday, October 25, at
Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.

As thousands of Swifties are disappointed of Taylor Swift’s snub of her
Eras tour in the Philippines, they find solace in Taylor Sheesh, the viral drag
sensation said to be the Philippines’ top Taylor Swift impersonator who set
out of her own tour across the country, including here in Tagbilaran City at
the Island City Mall.
Boholanos will truly experience the electrifying feel of Taylor Swift’s
Eras tour as the famed impersonator will perform live at the ICM Activity
Center this coming Thursday, October 26, at 12 noon.
A drag persona of 28-year old Mac Coronel who hails from Antipolo,
Rizal, Sheesh has skyrocketed in popularity on social media in recent months
after videos of her shows that emulate the Eras tour in the malls of Metro
Manila and Cebu went viral. It was reported by American music
magazine Rolling Stone in the mainstream media and received international
coverage in July.
Later, another 5,000 fans watched Sheesh performed in Taguig and the
videos of the event accumulated thousands of views on the video-sharing
platform, Tik Tok.
In August 2023, Sheesh broke the record for the highest number of
attendees in Lipa, Batangas with 10,000 concert-goers, followed by another
performance at Trinoma in Quezon City, her biggest crowd so far with more
than 10,000 attendees.
Just last month, Sheesh was featured on the episode of “Good
Morning America,” a top-rated US morning television program.
A graduate of computer technology and used to work as a call center
agent in BGC, Taguig, Sheesh has been professionally impersonating Swift
since 2017. He is expected to lip-sync some of Swift’s biggest hits such as
“You Belong With Me,” “Love Story,” and more.
