Bohol is pilot site in CV for Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair

The province of Bohol will be the pilot site for the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair, a
two-day event that aims to expedite the delivery of social services and programs to
the people.
The Serbisyo Fair is part of the “Bagong Pilipinas” campaign, a brand of governance
and leadership reinforced by unified institutions, initiated by President Ferdinand
“Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr.
According to a letter from Bohol Governor Erico Aumentado, the Department of the
Interior and Local Government (DILG) issued a memorandum circular on September
22, 2023, enjoining government offices to participate in the Serbisyo Fair.
The governor has called on a coordination meeting with various national government
agencies to discuss the planning and preparation for the Serbisyo Fair, as well as
the needed support from various government offices.
The Serbisyo Fair is expected to showcase the different programs and projects of
the national and local government units, as well as provide assistance and
information to the public.
It is also seen as a way to promote transparency and accountability in public service,
the governor said.
