On Nov. 27, 2023, Balilihan Mayor Pureza Veloso-Chatto (in photo) expressed her words of
congratulations to Barangay Cantomimbo on the occasion of the barangay’s celebration of its
Foundation Day. In her speech, Mayor Chatto enumerated the different activities held during the celebration: 1) Search for little Miss Cantomimbo; 2) Special Recognition for: the oldest male resident and female resident; the oldest house; the longest serving Barangay Health Worker (BHW); the oldest, living barangay resident among those who have served as barangay official; the oldest outgoing barangay official, etc.; 3) Show of Talents in Singing and Dancing; 4) Recognition for punong barangay Gary Dapar who authored the ordinance to celebrate the barangay’s Foundation Day every Nov. 27 of the year.
