Town News-JAGNA

LGU JAGNA BARANGAY SERVICE STARTS AT BARANGAY ODIONG. On Nov. 25, 2023, all the
heavy equipment of the Municipality of Jagna were brought to Barangay Odiong to implement the program of Mayor Joseph A. Rañola, MPA (inset, upper left corner), which is called THE LGU
JAGNA BARANGAY SERBISYO”. After the election in Oct. 30 where the new officers in the 33
barangays of the town are now seated, THE LGU JAGNA BARANGAY SERBISYO was delivered
without delay. This move of the mayor is a show of support to the ability and enthusiasm of new Punong Barangay Sherly Tan Amora who did not hesitate to ask the mayor for that particular support. Apart from the free use of the equipment like the backhoe, dump truck, roller and grader, the “crudo” for the said heavy equipment was also free. Added to these were fifteen (15) boxes of culverts and P20,000 worth of limestone. All these are to be used in the building of the road in sitio Kabulihan and sitio Ilaya in that barangay. The equipment were turned over to officials of barangay Odiong at the Odiong barangay hall with Vice Mayor Teofisto Jojo Pagar, Councilor Wilfredo Wilvinz Viñalon, Municipal Engr. Calforo Mangyao, Mayor’s Chief Of Staff, and staff of LGU Jagna. The help from LGU JAGNA was received with great joy by Punong Barangay Amora with the latter claiming that she was
the first to enjoy the service among the 33 barangays in the town after the recently concluded election on October 30. Contributed photo
