NOW SHOWING
“Wonka” at
Screenville Cinemas

A musical fantasy film based on the origin story of Willy Wonka of the
popular 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, “Wonka” is still
showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
This irresistibly vivid and inventive big screen spectacle will tell the
wondrous story of how the world’s greatest inventor, magician and
chocolate-maker became the beloved Willy Wonka we know today.
As a young boy selling chocolate in a small shop, Willy Wonka
(Timothée Chalamet-“Dunes”) is always full of ideas and determined to
change the world proving that the best things in life begin with a dream.
With dreams of opening a shop in a city renowned for its chocolate, Willy
discovers that the industry is run by a cartel of greedy chocolatiers —
Slugworth (Paterson Joseph), Prodnose (Matt Lucas) and Fickelgruber
(Mathew Baynton), the three businessmen mentioned in the novel as the
rival sweet makers who stole Wonka’s recipes.
