DISTRICT NEWS – 1 ST

Cong. Edgar Chatto (seated, 4 th from right) graces the Tubigon
Isles and Mainland Homeowners Association Inc. (TIMHOA, Inc)
during their First General Assembly and Christmas Party.
Residents of island barangays are hoping to be relocated to a
new site in mainland Tubigon provided by the LGU led by Mayor
William Jao and Vice Mayor Rene Villaber to ensure safety of
families. Chatto is working with the NHA and other Housing
Agencies to help allocate land development and housing funds.
This is the result of the slow onset of water level rise brought
about by Climate Change and the tilting of the islands after the
earthquake affecting Mocaboc, Bagong Banwa, Batasan,
Pangapasan, and Bilangbilangan. Mainland barangays of
Guiwanon are being proposed as resettlement sites. Contributed
