New LnB city chapter president elected

Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap congratulated Sergio Bangalao, the newly elected
President of the Liga ng Barangay (LnB) City Chapter, and the other officials who
won in the simultaneous election on Friday.
Bangalao, the Punong Barangay of Cabawan, will represent the Liga ng Barangay in
the Sanggunian Panlungsod as an ex-officio member. He will also chair the
Committee on Barangay Affairs.
Alberto Puagang of Dao was elected as the LnB Vice-President, while June Ramon
Doroy of Poblacion 2 was elected as the Auditor.
The Board of Directors consists of Nilo Lumantas of Manga, Felixberto Remolador of
Poblacion 3, Mary Jane Ruiz of Ubujan, Francis Eugene Zamora of Taloto, Marlou
Añana of Dampas, Jose Floro Ringca of Bool, and Joseph Sagaral of San Isidro.
Ringca was also chosen as the Liga’s Treasurer. All the candidates ran unopposed.
Mayor Yap administered the oath of office of the new Tagbilaran City Liga ng
Barangay 2023-2025 at the Sangguniang Panlungsod session hall of the City Hall.
Bangalao is an ally of the administration party and will replace Ruiz as the outgoing
LnB City Chapter President.
