Sikatuna Mayor Justiniana Ellorimo (center) is shown receiving the Gawad Kalasag Seal of Excellence. This took place during the National Awarding Ceremony at the Manila Hotel on Dec. 11, 2023. Mayor Ellorimo said: “Congratulations, too, to the following: Provincial Government of Bohol, City of Tagbilaran, Municipalities of Sikatuna, Anda, Albur, Candijay as winners of the “Beyond Compliant Award”. The award was given by the National Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Council (NDRRMC) Chairperson and at the same time, Secretary of the Department of National Defense (DND) Gibo Teodoro, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benhur Abalos, and Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Administrator Ariel Nepomuceno.
