Wages distributed to TUPAD beneficiaries in 1st District

The final group of beneficiaries of the TUPAD Program in the first district received
their wages on December 15, 2023.
The TUPAD Program, which stands for Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating
Disadvantaged/Displaced, aims to assist vulnerable individuals who lost their jobs or
livelihoods due to crisis or calamity.
The wage distribution was facilitated by the office of Bohol First District Rep. Edgar
M. Chatto, in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)
and focal person Kenny June Requeron.
The beneficiaries came from the municipalities of Albur, Dauis, Sikatuna, Catigbian,
Balilihan, Antequera, Maribojoc, and Pamilacan Island in Baclayon.
The program was implemented in partnership with the offices of Sen. Lito Lapid,
Sen. Cynthia Villar, Sen. Raffy Tulfo, Speaker Martin Romualdez and Tingog
Partylist.

The beneficiaries rendered 10 days of service in their respective communities and
earned P435 per day, for a total of P4,350.
Cong. Chatto expressed his gratitude to DOLE and his fellow lawmakers for their
continued support.
He also thanked the local government units (LGUs) for their effective cooperation in
the program.
