Tubigon Mayor William Jao (inset, upper left corner) announced on Dec. 20, 2023 that the municipality of Tubigon is a Bronze Awardee during the National Voluntary Blood Services Program (NVBSP) Annual Partner’s Forum and Awarding Ceremony held in Tagbilaran City. The award was received by Chona dela Victoria, NVBSP Focal Person in Tubigon. Tubigon garnered a 0.598% blood donation rate in the year 2022. The following barangays also received award for exceeding the 1% target blood donation rate and declared as Barangay Excellence Awardee for 2022: 1) Macaas -1.62%; 2) Tan-awan -1.30%; 3) Panadtaran -1.10%; 4) Pooc Oriental -1.05%; 5) Tinangnan -1.01%
