PSA turns over 2022 Community-BasedMonitoring System data to 7 LGUs

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)
successfully turned over the second batch of 2022
Community Based Monitoring System (CBMS)
data to seven local government units in the
province on December 28, 2023 at the Dao
Diamond Hotel and Restaurant in Tagbilaran City.
The seven recipients of the CBMS data include the
local government units of Clarin, Cortes, Dagohoy,
Lila, Loay, Sikatuna, and Guindulman.
The CBMS, as mandated under Republic Act (RA)
No. 11315, otherwise known as The CBMS Act, is

an organized technology-based system of
collecting, processing, and validating necessary
disaggregated data that may be used for planning,
program implementation, and impact monitoring at
the local level while empowering communities to
participate in the process.
The data generated at the local level serves as a
basis for targeting households in the planning,
budgeting, and implementing government
programs geared toward poverty alleviation and
economic development.
The CBMS data consists of a compendium of
localized facts, figures, and maps on the different
dimensions of poverty, such as health, nutrition,
water, sanitation, shelter, education, income,
employment, security, and participation.
The targeted recipients of the program include 5th
class municipalities in Bohol.
The first batch of the turnover was held on
December 14 to six municipalities composed of
Alburquerque, Anda, Batuan, Corella, San Isidro,
and Sevilla while the second batch of recipients
are the municipalities of Cortes, Sikatuna, Loay,
Dagohoy, Clarin, Guindulman, and Lila.
