Tagbilaran City sparkles with yuletide joy atChristmas Festival 2023

In a festive celebration of the holiday spirit, the City
Government of Tagbilaran hosted the Christmas
Festival 2023 at the City Hall grounds on
December 22, 2023.
Mayor Jane Yap and Vice Mayor Adam Jala led
the vibrant event with city residents enjoying a
night of joyful performances and friendly
competitions.
The Christmas Festival featured an exciting lineup
of performers, including the captivating Loboc
Ambassador Band and the dynamic Fil-Am singer-
rapper Elijvh.
The crowd was treated to a medley of musical
genres, adding to the festive atmosphere.
With a touch of friendly competition to the
festivities, the event included a lively singing
contest and a hip-hop dance contest.
Participants showcased their talents, spreading joy
and holiday cheer to the gathered audience.

City Mayor Yap expressed her joy at the
successful celebration, saying, “The Christmas
Festival is a time for us to come together as a
community, share in the joy of the season, and
create lasting memories. It’s wonderful to see the
smiles on the faces of both young and old as we
celebrate the spirit of Christmas.”
After the main event, the focus shifted to the
younger members of the community with the
“Pasko sa mga Bata” activity at the City Hall
atrium. Here, children were treated to a fun-filled
experience, complete with mascots, games,
interactive presentations, and a lively atmosphere
that truly captured the magic of the season.
The Christmas Festival 2023 in Tagbilaran City
exemplified the city’s commitment to fostering a
vibrant community spirit and spreading joy during
the holiday season.
The event served as a testament to the city’s
commitment to creating a haven for families.
