Baclayon Mayor Alvin Uy (first in the row) shows his happy disposition as he announced on Jan. 8, 2024 that the day was, indeed, a busy day for him. He started the day by attending the flag raising ceremony. Then, he went to the Sangguniang Bayan of Baclayon, after which he received the New Year Call of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) RVII Baclayon Fire Station and Baclayon Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) plus the courtesy appearance of Ms. Stephanie Sabijon, one (1) of the two (2) contestants from Baclayon for the Ms. Universe Philippines-Bohol. The mayor also received on that day the delivery of 2 brand new Hino vehicles for Mass Transport of students of the Baclayon National High School (BNHS). After lunch he attended a technical conference with the Bohol Provincial Environment and Management Office (BPEMO) and Environmental Management Bureau (EMB)/ Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Bohol for cases involving environmental issues and concerns. The mayor concluded the day by saying: “Thank you, Lord for a very fruitful day! Thank you for the support and cooperation of my co workers in the government. Para sa Baclayon!
