Sikatuna Mayor Justiniana Ellorimo (inset, upper left corner) has announced that on January 5, 2024 at 09:00 a.m., the Sikatuna Police Station personnel under the direct supervision of PLT Elizandra Julia Jamora – Chief of Police (COP), together with the representatives from the BFP of LGU Sikatuna and LDRRMO; the Sikatuna National High School teachers and staff;  Barangay Captain; Barangay Councilors; Life Coaches; SK members; Sangguniang Bayan members; Barangay Tanod Volunteers; and municipal advisory council members, conducted a clean-up drive in Barangay Abucay Sur, Sikatuna, Bohol. The mayor said that this activity was necessary to create and maintain  healthier, more sustainable communities; protect ecosystems; and address environmental challenges. She added that it was a tangible and effective way for individuals and communities to contribute to the well-being of the planet. Sikatuna Mayor Ellorimo also quoted a libe saying: “Cleaning up the planet is not someone else’s job; it’s everyone’s responsibility.” Contributed photo
