Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap personally turned over free uniforms last week for the Kindergarten to Grade 6 students in all public schools here in the city of Tagbilaran.
Under the YAP-JALA administration, the programs related to education have been expanded.
More than 10,000 elementary students in all public schools in the city of Tagbilaran have received free school uniforms from the city government.
The first to receive were the students of Cabawan Elementary School in Barangay Cabawan.
Mayor Yap was accompanied by Dr. Wil Bongalos of the Department of Education and the principals of each school beneficiary during the distribution of the free uniforms.
