A romantic comedy loosely based from William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” about two sworn enemies who fall in love with each other, “Anyone But You” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
As a law student at Boston University, Bea (Sydney Sweeney-“Euphoria”) meets Ben (Glen Powell-“Top Gun: Maverick”), and sparks fly immediately between the two having an instant connection. They spend the day and night passionately talking and ultimately falling asleep together on Ben’s couch in his apartment.
After the one night stand encounter, Bea was insulted and the two hate each other. However, after six months the college arch nemesis reunite after crossing paths during Bea’s sister wedding with Ben’s childhood friend in Australia.
For the sake of the wedding, they pretend to be a couple for their own personal reasons. But through pretending, they actually fall in love.

“Skeletons in the Closet”

The vengeful ghost called “La Llorona” made popular in cinema by Director James Wan’s “The Curse of La Llorona” is back to haunt unsuspecting mothers and their children in “Skeletons In The Closet”, which will premiere on Wednesday, January 24, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
La Llorona is said to be a mother who drowned her two children and then killed herself afterwards and was cursed to roam the earth for eternity for her crime. She appears mainly to families with children and legend has it that she kidnaps children in the middle of the night and take them away.
In this story, a desperate mother is haunted by a malevolent spirit since childhood, and allows herself to become possessed in order to save the life of her terminally ill daughter.
The film stars two Academy Awards winners, Terrence Howard and Cuba Gooding, Jr., whose talent and performance has made this movie a true and convincing horror experience for the audience.
“SKELETONS IN THE CLOSET” will premiere on Wednesday, January 24, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
