The Baclayon police station arrested 22 wanted persons, including six most wanted, in 2023, making it the best performer among the category C police stations in Bohol.
This was revealed by Capt. Girlie Apolinares Tolop, the Baclayon police chief, in a report by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA).
Tolop credited the support of Baclayon mayor Alvin Uy for the police station’s success, which was achieved through 21 operations.
The second place went to the Buenavista police station, which arrested 20 wanted persons, nine of them most wanted, in 2023.
The Clarin police station followed closely with 19 arrests of wanted persons in 2023.
