Second District Representative Maria Vanessa Aumentad (inset, upper right corner) has announced the following for the 2nd district of Bohol: On Jan. 23, 2024, there was a payout of P25,000.00 for each student from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). The payout was for college students who qualified as SMART Beneficiaries for the 2nd district. SMART refers to the Student Monetary Assistance for Recovery & Transition. This is a one-time financial assistance to students in the undergraduate program who are enrolled in the Academic Year (AY) 2023-2024. Rep. Aumentado said: “Daghang Salamat CHED sa maong educational assistance diin sa Segundo Distrito nagahinan ta ug 2.7M mao [nga] dunay 109 ka Students [nga] natagaan sa maong grant. Padayon ang atong regular na TDP- Tulong Dunong Program diin 200 students usab kadtong last year pa ni apply ang mga grantan sa 7,500 per sem or 15k per yr, ang maong cash assistance diretso na sa skwelahan pohon2x. Basi kini sa gi approbahan nga application sa CHED. Nahibawo ko daghan kaayo gusto mo avail. Ako isip Kongresista naningkamot lang pod pag submit sa inyong applications last year but due to limited fund dili gyud nato ma grant tanang applicante ky duna may limitasyon si CHED ug pila ra ang madawat.
