Buenavista Mayor Dave Duallo (inset, upper left corner) has been religiously encouraging the employees of LGU Buenavista to attend the flag raising ceremony of the town. On Jan 22, 2024 the LGU Buenavista Employees, together with the National Agencies, attended the traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony. The mayor said that the weekly flag raising ceremony holds significant importance because it symbolizes the people’s sense of patriotism, unity, and national pride. Mayor Duallo also said: “As we perform this ceremonial act that signifies the beginning of our day and work week, we also associate it with respect for our country’s flag and the values it represents.” During the flag raising ceremony, Dr. Marivic L. Chua (in photo, right), the Municipal Health Officer, formally introduced the newly assigned “Doctor To The Barrios (DTTB)” – Dr. Philippe Angelo A. Mamaril (in photo, center). Dr. Mamaril will assist Dr. Marivic Chua in rendering health care services to the people of Buenvists and in improving the local health systems/programs/projects in the municipality. Dr. Mamaril will also do barangay visits and conduct check up and consultations especially to those people in the far-flung barangays and island barangays. He will replace Dr. Lenie May Vaporoso (in photo, left) who will now be assigned to the Dagohoy Hospital. Buenavists MPDC Office headed by Mr. Efren Logroño, took the lead during the Jan. 22, 2024 flag raising ceremony. Contributed photo
