This edition of VOX POPULI is a repost of the netizens’ reactions, responses and comments to the question posted on the FB page of the Managing Editor of “The Bohol Tribune”, as requested by the reactors considering the current condition of the price of fish in the market.
The question is: “Unsa na may atong buhaton karon nga mahal na man kaayo ang presyo sa isda? (What are we going to do now that prices of fish are really very high?)
The answers, comments and reactions are:
- from Rudy L. Inting: Boycott fish products for a month or two. You are in media, you have the power and influence to change the status quo. Or….Set printable guidelines for prices as per industry standard, based on neighbouring provinces. Consumers should take this cheat sheet with them when shopping. Any seafood products sold above and beyond the guidelines should be boycotted and reported.
