Benjie Oliva shares “Halad sa Catigbian ug Catigbianons”

A total of P323,000,000.00 worth of infrastructure projects were turned over to the Local Government Unit of Catigbian for the people implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) made possible thru Benjie Oliva, the proud son of Catigbian town.

The turn-over ceremony was done during Benjie Oliva’s birthday last January 23, 2024 and calls it a “Halad to Catigbian ug Catigbianons”.

The infrastructure projects include P128,000,000.00 road concreting project from Poblacion-Alegria-Candumayao-Causwagan Norte-Mantacida, P50,000,000.00 Alegria Flood Control, P100,000,000.00 Poblacion and Poblacion Weste Flood Control, P40,000,000.00 Solar street lighting Jct. Cortes-Balilihan-Catigbian and P5,000,000.00 Causwagan Norte Covered Court Project.

Benjie Oliva was the former Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Administrator, Provincial Coordinator of Koop Kampi and Rotary Club Pasay Cyber City Chairman.

The turn over of the mega projects was led by Oliva, PH Cares Chairman Elmer Francis Passion, President Peachy Passion, Catigbian Mayor Elizabeth Mandin Pace, 1st District Congressman Edgar Chatto represented by Board Member Aldner Damalerio, Governor Aris Aumentado, town and barangay officials.

Aside from the mega projects turn over, Benjie Oliva as additional part of his “Halad to Catigbian and Catigbianon” conducted a medical mission, wheelchair and scratches distribution.

PH Cares and Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City distribute wheelchair and scratches to barangay Baang, Catigbian town.

Pamayanang Handa Community Advocates for Resilient, Empowerment and Services (PH Cares) and Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City has distributed 86 wheelchairs and 16 scratches to persons with disabilities (PWD’s) in Catigbian town.

PH Cares Chairman Elmer “Jun” Francis Passion and proud Catigbianon Benjie Oliva, who happend to be the president of Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City conducted the medical mission and wheelchair distribution program at Baang Gymnasium barangay Baang, Catigbian last January 23, 2024.

The program also coincides the birthday celebration of the proud son of Catigbian Benjie Oliva who also served as the former Administrator of the Cooperative Development Authority Administration (CDA).

Oliva offered the medical mission and wheelchair distribution as his birthday gift to the people of Catigbian.

A total of 86 wheelchair and 16 scratches were distributed by PH Cares and Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City to barangays of Santo Niño Parish base in Baang, Catigbian.

The beneficiaries barangay were Mahayag Norte, Liboron, Cambailan, Cang-iras, Maitum, Mahayag Sur, Baang, Bagtic, Hagbuaya, Alegria, Rizal, Triple Union, Causwagan Norte, ug Mantacida.

The program were attended by Catigbian Mayor Elizabeth Mandin-Pace, First District  Board Member Aldner Damalerio representing First District Congressman Edgar Chatto, Governor Aris Aumentado and 14 barangay captains.

Meanwhile, around 500 residents also benefited the medical mission organized by PH Cares, Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City supported also by the Provincial Government of Bohol.
