Thousands of jobs await Boholanos as BPO firm Sagility enters Bohol

Bohol, Philippines – A new business process outsourcing (BPO) company, Sagility, is set to open its office in Bohol this year, creating about 3,000 job opportunities for the locals.

Governor Aris Aumentado announced the good news during the flag raising ceremony at the Capitol last Monday.

He said that Sagility is a BPO firm that specializes in health-related services, making it suitable for students, nurses, fresh graduates, or those who have not yet taken their board exams.

On Wednesday, the governor chaired a breakfast meeting with the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to prepare for the entry of the BPO investor in the province.

They agreed to expedite the processing of the necessary documents and permits for the construction and operation of Sagility’s office.

According to the governor, Sagility will build its office at the Old Airport and plans to start operations within the year.

He noted that Sagility will arrive in Bohol in the next few days to conduct recruitment for manpower.

The Governor’s Mansion will be used as the venue for the hiring event.

The governor expressed his optimism that Sagility’s entry will boost the economic development of the province and provide livelihood for the Boholanos.

He urged the public to take advantage of this opportunity and apply for the jobs offered by Sagility.
