On February 1, 2024, a NEW PNP PATROL CAR was received by LGU Batuan. It was announced on the Batuan FB Post that the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), under the command of Secretary Benjur Abalos, and the Philippine National Police (PNP), under General Benjamin Nacorda, through RVII PNP RD General Anthony Aberin, turned over one unit Toyota Hilux Patrol Car to the Batuan PNP Station. Batuan Mayor Antonino “Dodo” Jumawid (2nd from left) and Batuan PNP Chief Capt. Victor Tagsa (2nd from right) received the patrol car at Camp Dagohoy. Witnessing the turnover were Gov.Erico Aristotle Aumentado, Bohol PNP Provincial Director Lorenzo Batuan, key officials of the PNP, Mayors of Bohol and Bohol Media. General Aberin directed the PNP: to use the vehicle to improve services and operational mobility in its mandate to serve and protect the people; to use the vehicle for official use only; and that the vehicle will be driven by the designated drivers who must wear proper uniform at all times.
