DISTRICT NEWS – 1 ST

The office of Cong. Edgar Chatto coordinated
with the MVP Group of Companies for the
provision of assistance to families affected by the
fire incident in Brgy. Mansasa, Tagbilaran City.

Manager along with Frederick Buhion,
Operations Manager of Touchpoint Enterprises
(Smart provincial distributor), Mary Grace Aya-
ay, Admin Manager of Touchpoint Enterprises,
Jhunqui C. Fither, Distributor Sales Supervisor
and Karen Iting, Account Officer (Akrostar
Network Corp), Smart regional distributor joined
Eric Galan and Kenny June Requeron, Chatto’s
office focal persons, during the distribution of rice
assistance on February 13.  They were received
by Mansasa officials led by Brgy. Capt. Arvin
Visarra. Chatto also monitored the distribution of
cash assistance through DSWD and handed
over personal food assistance to the families.

Cong. Edgar Chatto welcomes physical
therapists from the Gov. Celestino Gallares
Memorial Medical Center: Jefferey Real,
Beethoven Sentilla, Jason Galaura, Hazel
Refugio-Cepedoza, Niña Geraldine Yu at a
meeting on February 9, 2024. This coming July
2024, the country will be celebrating its 43rd
National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation
Week. The Department of Rehabilitation
Medicine of GCGMMC plans to expand its
activities in partnership with our office at the
same time expand their reach of participants.
One of the proposed activities will be a
PWDLympics, wherein adult PWDs will be
competing in various sports, such as basketball,
swimming, track and field, etc. They will also be
continuing with the Amazing Race Kids for the
children and PWD Got Talent. These activities
are designed to promote health and wellness of
PWDs, as well as develop camaraderie amongst
themselves and promote social and community
