Talibon bros w/ P68M shabu say ‘Leon’ is Bohol’s drug lord

Drug courier brothers who were nabbed by the police in Cebu City on March 4, 2024, have revealed the identity of their boss, a notorious drug lord of Bohol province.

The courier, Jaime Dajao, and his brother Roberto, both from Talibon town in Bohol, were caught with 10 kilos of suspected shabu worth P68 million during a sting operation in Carreta village, according to a news report published by The Freeman newspaper.

Jaime confessed that he was working for a man named “Leon,” who was the mastermind behind the drug trade in Bohol and other parts of the Visayas.

Jaime said that he was only a delivery man for Leon, who supplied him with large quantities of shabu every month.

Police authorities are now tracking down Leon, who is considered as one of the most wanted drug personalities in the region. They hope to dismantle his network and stop the flow of illegal drugs in the area.

The Dajao brothers are facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. They are currently detained at the Cebu City Police Office detention cell.

This was not the first time that Jaime was arrested for drug-related offenses.

In 2020, he was captured with P27.2 million worth of shabu in Mandaue City.

However, he was able to walk free after the case against him was dismissed in 2023.

Police said that Jaime did not reform his ways and resumed his involvement in the drug business after his release.

Based on intelligence reports, Jaime was able to sell 10 to 20 kilos of shabu per month in various locations in Cebu province, including the cities of Cebu, Mandaue, and Lapu-Lapu.
