Top Executive from Tokyu Hotels confers UB administrators, student interns

In a move aimed at fostering future opportunities, Japanese hotelier Mr. Jun Murai, President of Tokyu Hotels and Resort Co. Ltd., paid a visit to the University of Bohol (UB) on February 29, 2024. The meeting took place at the Corporate Boardroom located on the UB main campus in Tagbilaran City.

During his visit, Mr. Murai personally engaged with UB’s school administrators and extended warm greetings to the first batch of interns from the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program.

The primary objective of the visit was to establish and strengthen connections in preparation for the on-the-job (OJT) training of UB students in Japan in March of 2024. Dr. Victoriano B. Tirol, III, UB President, extended a gracious welcome to Mr. Murai and his delegation, joined by key university officials, including Atty. Marlumina B. Teh, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Ms. Ria Eva M. Sevilla, Vice President for Administration, and Dr. Maricel A. Tirol, Vice President for Finance.

The Japanese delegation enjoyed a delightful lunch at Iluminada’s Home, featuring locally sourced foods prepared by the student interns. (Leo Armando B. Boncales)
