Town News-BALILIHAN

Balilihan Mayor Pureza Veloso-Chatto (seated, 3rd from left) reported on March 6, 2024 the following: “We attended the virtual orientation on Feed Back- a vegetable exchange program which engages an entire community in planting vegetables in their respective backyards. In so doing, families will then have food on their table and excess harvests can be shared with their neighbors with a festive vibe; or, these can be sold in the market, too. This is interesting as it promotes food security and spirit of unity and helpfulness among families. This practice can also be a good source of additional income.” Contributed photo

Tonton Deluao (the priest at the table/altar). Contributed photo
