Town News-SIKATUNA

Sikatuna Mayor Justiniana Ellorimo (inset, lower left corner) announced that on March 22, 2024, the Sikatuna Fire Station personnel headed by SFO2 Pedro P. Jala, Officer-In-Charge, under the supervision of Supt. Raul G. Bustaliño, JD, DPA, Provincial Fire Marshal – Bohol, conducted a Tree Planting activity at Libjo, Sikatuna, Bohol. The mayor said that “Tree Planting can help to restore important ecosystem services in urban and suburban areas and the rural areas that supply these centers with food, water, energy, and raw building materials. When water, soil, and air quality are improved, environmental risks and impacts such as flash floods, respiratory illnesses, and the UHI effect are reduced.” Contributed photo
