Set in 1971, a young American woman (Nell Tiger Free-“Servant”) is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church; but she encounters a darkness that causes her to question her own faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring about the birth of evil incarnate.

After a series of ominous events, including Damien deliberately knocking Kathy over a balcony and causing her to miscarry, it is revealed that Damien is the son of Satan and the Antichrist. It was directed by Richard Donner (“Lethal Weapon” films).
