In a significant buy-bust operation, authorities apprehended a 55-year-old woman identified as Nilfa Bechayda, a married resident of Pascam 2, General Trias City, Cavite.
The operation took place in Dauis, Bohol on Holy Wednesday.
The confiscated substance, weighing a total of 1050 grams, has an estimated Standard Drug Price of Php7,140,000.00.
Authorities confirmed that the seized drugs originated from the National Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa and were intended for delivery to a consignee in Leyte via bus.
The PNP Dauis Drug Enforcement Unit is closely monitoring the situation, and further investigations are underway.
