Lila Mayor Arturo Piollo II (inset, upper left corner) bared on March 25, 2024 the information about the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) by the Lila Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) together with Bureau of Fire Lila Station and Lila Police Station Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) conducted Fire and Earthquake Drill at Holy Rosary Academy, Lila, Bohol. The mayor said that during the drill, students, teachers and staff, underwent simulated scenarios to practice safety protocols and assess their readiness to effectively respond to this earthquake. This activity aimed to raise awareness about earthquakes and fire incidence preparedness and to practice response and evacuation procedures in this kind of event.
