Tubigon Mayor William Jao (inset, upper left corner) has announced that the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tubigon through the Municipal Agriculturist Office in partnership with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), conducted a 3-day Training on Tilapia Production, Post-Harvest Handling, and Tilapia Value-Adding to the Buenos Aires Tilapia and Farmers Association (BATAFA) on March 19-21, 2024. The farmers were not just taught how to increase the yield in tilapia production but also on how to produce products from tilapia such as Tilapia Canton, Tilapia Fresh Noodles, Tilapia Chips, and Dried Tilanggit.
