NOW SHOWING
“The First Omen”
at Screenville
A prequel to the classic 1976 horror thriller, “The Omen”, which reveals the sinister conspiracy to bring about the birth of the Antichrist, “The First Omen” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
Set in 1971, a young American woman (Nell Tiger Free-“Servant”) is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the Church. But she encounters a darkness that causes her to question her own faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring about the birth of evil incarnate.
One of the most terrifying horror films of all time that traumatized audiences worldwide, the original “The Omen” in 1976 told the story of a couple (Gregory Peck & Lee Remick) adopting a son whom they name Damien (Harvey Spencer Stevens). After a series of ominous events, it is revealed that Damien is the son of Satan and the Antichrist.
The birth of Damien was never fully shown in the first film, and this prequel examines how the birth of the Antichrist came to be.
“THE FIRST OMEN” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
