On March 2, 2024, Balilihan Mayor Pureza Veloso-Chatto (in photo) announced the following information and said: “We convened our Municipal Development Council composed of Local Government Unit Heads of Office, all Barangay Captains and Civil Society Organization representatives to pass Supplemental Budget 1 series 2024 nga maga pondo sa mga importanteng programa sama sa cash grants to Senior Citizens ageing 85 pataas base sa usa ka ordinansa,  og grants/assistance to solo parents og mga proyekto sama sa activity centers for 8 primary and elementary schools, insurance for the public market and municipal hall, upgrading of water pumps among many others totaling to over P20M.”  Contributed photo

Balilihan Mayor Pureza Veloso-Chatto (standing, holding a microphone and facing the audience), announced on March 26, 2024 the following: “Ang Overseas Workers Welfare Administration gi representahan ni Ms. Meryl Diez og Ms Gema Bale, nag conduct og orientation kabahin sa ‘Parokya ng OWWA sa Barangay at Pamilyang OFW’. Gipasabot nila ang mga programa sa maong agencia nga nag apil sa livelihood, scholarship, og kalain laing financial assistance sa mga dependents og OFWs.
