On March 2, 2024, Buenavista Mayor Dave Duallo (left) announced the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the construction of 10M Sabo Dam/Water Impounding at Barangay Overland, Buenavista. The mayor said that with the completion of the dam and the start of the operation of the water supply from Overland, it is expected that the long problem of lack of water supply especially during dry season in Metro Buenavista will be solved. He also thanked DBM Sec. Amenah Pangandaman and boss Trygve Olaivar for the 10M LGSF granted to Buenavista. Mayor Duallo bared that this fund is in addition to the 55M given by Gov. Erico Aristotle Aumentado (while he was 2nd District Congressman) for the piping/tank & filtration project and 8M Salintubig water source project.
