Tagbilaran City is gearing up for an evening of glamour and elegance as fifteen ladies representing different barangays of the city compete for the prestigious Mutya sa Tagbilaran 2024 crown. The highly anticipated pageant will take place on April 20, 2024, at the Bohol Wisdom School Gymnasium.
Mayor Jane Yap, Chairperson of Mutya sa Tagbilaran 2024, shared her excitement for the upcoming event during an interview held during the official photoshoot of the Mutya candidates.
The candidates exuded grace and sophistication as they showcased exquisite Filipiniana gowns crafted by master couturier Cary Santiago and beautifully captured by photographer Jon Unson. The Tagbilaran City Glam Team ensured that each candidate looked stunning with meticulously executed hair and makeup.
The Mutya sa Tagbilaran pageant has gained recognition as one of the top pageants in the country, known for its outstanding productions and star-studded lineup of celebrity judges, performers, showbiz personalities and hosts. In 2023, Mutya sa Tagbilaran was honored as one of the top 10 best pageants of the year by the Pageant Awards Philippines.
The fifteen candidates, each a winner from their respective barangay-level Mutya pageants, represent the epitome of beauty, grace, and intellect.
Among them are Kimberly Grace Giroud of Poblacion III, Andrea Jake Maglacion of Dao, Kate Evangel Rubillar of Poblacion II, Janna Maloloy-on of Cogon, Danica Joy Mahumot of Booy, Alyssa Bella Suarez of Manga, Marielle Faye Remolador of Taloto, Stephanie Kate Marsh of Mansasa, Shiela Marie Torreblanca of Cabawan, Mary Love Lopez of Ubujan, Christine Kaith Llanos of San Isidro, Celine Plaza of Tiptip, Clover Jane Morris of Bool, Niña Luz Makinano of Dampas, and Ann Marie Bentulan of Poblacion I.
Mr. Joseph Alexis Cadeliña, Head of the Tagbilaran City Events, Culture, and Arts Office, serves as the Mutya sa Tagbilaran Pageant Director, ensuring the smooth flow of the event and the fair judging of the candidates. Assisting him is City General Services Officer Dr. Chris John Rener Torralba, who serves as the Creative Director, overseeing the artistic direction and presentation of the pageant.
The Mutya sa Tagbilaran 2024 pageant promises to be an evening of glitz, glamour, and celebration of beauty and culture, showcasing the best of Tagbilaran City’s finest ladies.
