In a move to enhance customer convenience, Bohol Water has announced that it will now accept payments through G-Cash for water bills. This initiative is part of the company’s commitment to provide easy and accessible payment options for its customers.

To avail of the G-Cash facility, customers are required to follow a simple procedure:

1. Customers can visit the BWUI office in person, log on to the Bohol Water Facebook page, or send an email to support@boholwater.com or boholwater@yahoo.com.

2. The customer must provide the registered Account Name and Reference Number, which can be found on the water bill.

3. BWUI’s Customer Service staff will generate a unique QR Code for the customer’s account.

4. Customers can use a mobile banking app or any QR Code scanning app to scan the code.

5. Enter the amount to be paid and complete the transaction.

In an effort to decongest the BWUI payment center at Bantol St, Dampas, Tagbilaran City, and for the convenience of customers, the company has also partnered with various banks and financial institutions to accept online or over-the-counter payment of water bills.

Online payments can be made at LandBank of the Philippines and Security Bank, provided the customer has an account with these banks for the debit transaction.

First Consolidated Bank (FCB) will accept BWUI payments over the counter or through its FCBpay facility. Bank of Commerce and MLhuillier will also accept over-the-counter payments, with MLhuillier offering its MWallet facility as well.

However, it’s important to note that these payment partners will not accept payment of overdue bills.

Customers are advised to make such payments directly at the BWUI office to avoid any complications.

This move by Bohol Water is a significant step towards digital transformation, making bill payments more convenient for its customers.
