Third District Representative Alexie Besas-Tutor (in photo) bared her key activities for the first week of April. On April 5, 2024, she said: “Congratulations Duero for the launching of the Community-Based Gardening. Unta daghan mo nakat-onan sa akong gipang sulti ganina & I am hoping for the sustainability of this program.” The event took place in Bangwalog, Duero, Bohol and it was attended by Mayor Al Taculad, Vice Mayor Hernes Bajao, Sangguniang Bayan Members, Provincial Government Bohol Officials and Representatives, First Lady Jen Taculad and the members of the barangay councils of the town of Duero. On April 6, 2024, Congresswoman Tutor was in Candijay, Bohol for the Barangay Local Government Units (BLGU) activity where the barangay of the said town became the recipient of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Livelihood Program with an amount of P435,100. The implementers of this program are the Purok Officials and the project is Hog Raising. Conresswoman Tutor said: “Unta mo lungtad ni na programa kay sa daghang livelihood programs nato, kinahanglan ta deri sa atong lungsod mismo nga maka ingon ta nga dunay sustainability. Dili nato sayangan ang opportunidad. Balansi ta sa kanunay sa tersero. Ug dunay mga infra, naa pod ang livelihood ilabi na sa mga lungsod nga maayo na kaayo ug dagan ang infra projects, focus ta sa social services ug ilabi na ang panginabuhian.
