The town’s fire station FB post said that the Lila Fire Station personnel headed by SFO3 Ranulfo S. Quilas, MPA, Officer-In-Charge-Municipal Fire Marshal, under the supervision of Supt. Raul G. Bustaliño, JD, DPA, Provincial Fire Marshal, conducted hydrant checking and testing within the Area of Responsibility. The fire officers said that conducting regular checks of fire hydrants is crucial, especially during phenomena like El Niño which can increase the risk of dire due to dry conditions. Regular inspection and maintenance of fire hydrants help ensure their reliability during emergencies and contribute to overall fire safety in the community.
