“The Fall Guy” at Screenville
A Hollywood action-packed comedy thriller loosely based on the 1980s TV series about a stuntman who moonlights as a bounty hunter, “The Fall Guy” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling-“The Notebook”) is a seasoned but aging action stuntman where he always gets blown up, shot, crashed, thrown through windows and dropped from the highest of heights, all for the sake of entertainment.
One day, he finds himself working on a film set with Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson-“Kick-Ass”), a famous actor for whom he had doubled long ago. When Tom goes missing and the film, which is being directed by his ex-girlfriend Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt-“A Quiet Place”), Colt volunteers to find Tom and save Jody’s debut film.
Colt has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life.

COMING SOON
“Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” at Screenville
A sequel to “War for the Planet of the Apes” in 2017, set 300 years after the reign of Caesar, “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” will premiere on Wednesday at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
Several generations after the events of the previous film, apes are now the dominant species living harmoniously, and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows.
As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.
Director Wes Ball breathes new life into this global, epic franchise set following Caesar’s reign. The film’s villain is a cult-like leader who enslaves other tribes of apes, tarnishing the legacy and society that the original Caesar fought so long and hard to build.
“KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF GTHE APES” will premiere on Wednesday at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
