Buenavista Mayor Dave Duallo (in photo, seated) announced April 25, 2024 the Ceremonial Turn-Over of the Buenavista Municipal Port Project. During the event, the mayor said: “Thank you Department of Transportation (DOTr) and Gov. Erico Aristotle Aumentado (who was then the 2nd District Cong) for appropriating funds for the rehabilitation of our municipal port. Since the port needs to be extended so it can operate commercially, we again submitted another request to DOTr for funds for its extension and we thank again Gov. Aris and Cong. Van-van Cadorna Aumentado for the endorsement and follow up so it will be included in the 2025 budget.” Contributed photo
