Cong. Edgar Chatto (left) welcomes DFA Assistant
Secretary for Consular Affairs Adelio Angelito Cruz
(right). This was during the ASEC’s visit to Bohol to
inspect the proposed location for the DFA Consular
Office in Tagbilaran City. During the visit, Cruz bared
that the full consular office will soon operate through
Chatto’s efforts of filing legislation and lobbying for
inclusion in the budget. Chatto filed House Bill No.
8767 and expressed manifestation during the budget
hearing for the consular office opening. Cruz also met
with the Alturas Group of Companies led by Marlito Uy
for the planned location at Alturas Mall. Contributed

The Bohol Solon, on May 1, received the guests after

the turnover of the agency’s leadership in Bohol. Colis
served as Cebu PENRO before his Bohol assignment
while Rica is now with the Central Office of DENR.

(standing) as well as key officials of CENRO
