FLOR’S 80TH BIRTHDAY
Dinner Party
METROCENTRE HOTEL
May 13, 2024
by Ruth Iyog
The statement, “She doesn’t look her age”, is a cliché. But she really doesn’t look her age. She is an epitome of young looks, beauty, elegance and grace. She is eighty years old and she is Ma. Flores Naron-Cimafranca, the wife of Antonio Cimfaranca, a U.S. citizen who has decided to stay here for good just to be with his beloved, Flor.
Flor has an only daughter, Babie Batoy-Boyan, married to Barry, an American national. Babie, Barry and their only son, JB, flew in from the U.S.A. to give more color to the birthday celebration on May 13, 2024. Barry, the son-in-law of the celebrator, had to go back to the America a day after the party for some pressing engagements. But staying in Bohol for only 3 days made Barry’s heart grow fonder, as they say. He pledged to come back before the end of the year, to savor longer the paradise that Bohol is!
Emceeing the dinner party at MetroCentre Hotel was a trio of hosts: Ardy Ines Araneta-Batoy, Gloria Leodivica Ines Araneta and Chandymar Araneta Batoy, all editors of TRENDING Section of The Bohol Tribune and broadcasters of dyTR of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas. Need we say more?
Main guests came from the families surnamed Cimafranca, Naron, Boyan, Batoy, Araneta, Cuarteros, Saletrero, Jumamoy, Seno, Jumangit, Belderol, Cuarteros, Iyog, Sepe, among others, including close relatives, friends and associates.
Indeed, we brought the house down. Happy Birthday, our dear Nang Flor. We love you!
