News from Lila, Bohol says: “The Lila Fire Station personnel headed by SFO3 Ranulfo S Quilas, Officer-In-Charge-Municipal Fire Marshal under the supervision of Supt. Raul G. Bustaliño, JD, DPA, Provincial Fire Marshal successfully conducted the 1st Lila Community Fire Auxiliary Groups (CFAG) Fire Olympics 2024. Hon. Mayor Atty. Arturo A Piollo II (4th from right), graced the event as the guest of Honor & Speaker. He was joined by Senior Insp. Servando T. Jumawid Jr., in behalf of our Provincial Fire Marshal Supt. Raul G. Bustaliño JD, DPA. The purpose of the activity is to showcase the barangay emergency responders’ physical prowess, resilience, and endurance in the art of fighting fires in a competitive yet friendly atmosphere. We always believe that continuing partnership with your barangay will lead us to a safe and progressive Lila. The events conducted were Bucket Relay, Hose Rolling/Unrolling, Rescue and Transfer, and Fire Fighting. Meanwhile, Lila Emergency Response Unit (LEMRU) was declared Champion. In the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie, the Lila Fire Olympics 2024 proved to be an enjoyable event.
