Sikatuna Mayor Justiniana Ellorimo (inset, upper left corner), on May 18, 2024, announced the following: “The Municipality of Sikatuna, together with the Municipal officials, Local Government Unit employees and Barangay Health Workers celebrated the 2024 International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Activity with this year’s theme ‘Together we Remember, Together we Heal, through Love and Solidarity’. It is an annual activity that raises awareness about Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS), and aims to address the stigma and shame faced by individuals living with HIV/AIDS. The goal of this activity is to unite in the fight against HIV, to continue to show support for people living with HIV and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness.
